Specific duties include but not limited to:
- Sells, promotes and secures sales orders from existing and prospective clients through a pro-active approach and by assisting them in selecting the most appropriate products/services for their requirement.
- Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current and prospective clients in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for the company’s products/services Researches sources, such as Internet, Directories and others for developing prospective clients and gather information to determine their potentials.
- Makes telephone calls and client visits and conducts sales presentations to existing and prospective clients
- Prepares accurate costing and completes the entries and attachments of Bids, Quotations, Proposals and Customer Order Forms; Insures that Potential Problems are identified during contract preparation and review; Insures that Notices are sent to concerned parties and Preventive Actions are immediately addressed.
- Gathers and submits to Technical Supervisor/Specialist correct and complete information of purchase orders or customer’s specifications and requirements of prospective projects.
- Provides assistance to the Accounting Department in the prompt collection of down payments, progress billings and balances.
- Monitors status and development of projects with concerned units from site survey until project completion and ensures that target dates are satisfactorily met to the full satisfaction of the project owners.
- Submits accurate weekly/monthly sales report and forecast on time. Identifies, records or reports to Sales Manager any non-conformances or problems relating to the implementation of the projects. Initiates or recommends solutions to any non-conformances encountered to ensure customers delight.
- Updates clients with the new product brochures, samples and Company’s new technologies in relation to the Valued Clients Retention Program of the Company.
- Assists the Sales Manager in the preparation of Annual Budget and Sales Program
